Edwardian Terraced Home, Ealing

This partial refurbishment of an Edwardian terraced home in Ealing was designed to reflect the style and personality of its new owners. The clients approached our West London interior design studio looking to enhance the character of their home with colour, warmth, and thoughtful design updates.

From the living areas to the bedrooms, every space was re-imagined to be both practical and personal. The result is a warm, characterful home that combines classic Edwardian charm with contemporary, colourful interior design - perfectly suited to family life in West London.

Reception Room

We transformed this reception room into a cosy, multi-functional living space with a fresh sense of personality. A bespoke built-in media unit and shelving either side of the fireplace now anchors the space, offering lots of storage and display.

A new bespoke L-shaped sofa defines the family seating area, complete with nesting coffee tables area rug. On the opposite side, a reading nook in the bay window creates a quiet retreat, styled with a mid-century leather armchair, brass directional floor lamp, and marble side table.

This elegant and inviting space now balances comfort with a refined, timeless aesthetic - perfect for relaxed family living in Ealing.

Kitchen / Diner / TV Room

This open-plan space needed a vibrant refresh. To add warmth and personality, we used a feature wallcovering behind a new mid-century teak sideboard, bringing life and depth to previously plain white walls.

We developed a colour scheme that harmonised beautifully with the client’s existing sofa and artwork, making the space feel both cohesive and elevated. This transformation reflects our approach to interior design in West London: mixing the old with the new to create vibrant, personal interiors that feel truly lived in.

Master Bedroom

We enhanced the existing scheme in the master bedroom with new furniture, custom soft furnishings, area rug, artwork and a compact home office nook. A richly patterned made-to-measure single curtain draws to one side. This was layered with a bespoke voile curtain for daytime privacy.

These new additions complement the existing dark grey walls and warm toned timber flooring, while the mid-century-inspired bed and side tables tie in with the home’s broader aesthetic. A mid-century-style desk was also fitted into a small nook, creating a quiet and practical workspace without compromising on style.
